¡Hola! I'm Valeria. Bienvenidos a Mokovi. For many years, students in my classes had been telling me the same thing: "I learn best when I am immersed in the Spanish language". Since not everybody can move to another country to learn a second language, I wanted to find a way to bring the Spanish immersion experience to learners in their own homes. I set out to create the online platform I wish my students could have used to support their Spanish learning when they were taking my classes.
I know first hand how difficult it can be to learn a second language. I came to the U.S. when I was twenty two years old and had to work hard to be able to communicate my ideas in English. It takes a lot of determination and perseverance to become fluent in a second language. This is why I believe that having a virtual tutor who keeps you motivated and gives you shortcuts to learning is the key to success. I would love to hear more about your language learning experiences. Contact me any time. I am here to help you!
Were you expecting a more formal introduction?
